About us
The TÜV Rheinland InterTraffic GmbH is one of the leading providers of diagnostic and safety technology and has more than 20 years of experience in research, development, implementation and testing of safety technologies. Formerly ISTec was founded in 1992 as a 100% subsidiary of the Gesellschaft für Anlagen- und Reaktorsicherheit (society for plant and reactor safety) and was taken over by the testing organisation TÜV Rheinland AG in 2014.
TÜV Rheinland InterTraffic GmbH offers diagnostic and safety systems for the areas of wind energy, petrochemistry, power plants, transportation, and industrial facilities. Its customers include wind park and power plant operators, transport companies, testing organisations, authorities as well as the processing industry. Since the systems are very complex and the fields of application differ enormously, individual adjustments of the system to the respective monitoring task are made for each client. Thus, for every task tailored diagnostic systems result from the expertise of 35 scientists and engineers. These systems are equipped with the optimal settings for sensors, data acquisition, signal analysis, etc. according to the respective requirements.
In addition to the diagnostic systems TÜV Rheinlad InterTraffic GmbH offers individual development, consultancy and testing services as well as support for the system operation.
The product family COMOS emerged from a longstanding collaboration between TÜV Rheinland InterTraffic GmbH and DSPECIALISTS GmbH, while TÜV Rheinland InterTraffic GmbH is the contracting authority and DSPECIALISTS is the exclusive system supplier.
COMOS is marketed jointly by the two companies, while TÜV Rheinland InterTraffic GmbH is the customer's contractor.
